We are huge fans of Ordinary products, and this little guy is the first thing that we bought from their range. Our main part of skincare routine was exfoliating with scrubs, but after reading so much good things about glycolic acid we jumped at the chance to try it out. We opt for The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, which offers mild exfoliation… perfect for acid newbies like us!
As true animal lovers, and proud owners of a hyperactive dog Ollie and a grumpy cat Mrvica, for the last couple of years we were making more wiser and informed choices and became more aware of what we actually put on our skin. It would be a lie if we say that we completely switched to cruelty-free cosmetics, but we think that it’s a process, and we are taking it step by step.
While the winter months are upon us, it’s time to start thinking not only about Christmas decoration and endless cups of hot cocoa, but also about our hair. Dry and cold weather can really damage the hair, not to mention the frizz mess. It’s the worse, right?!
If we had to choose only one make up product, we would definitely go for foundation. A good solid base is the most important part of make up to us, as for the most of the day we wear very little of it. Foundation, mascara, corrector and we are ready to go.
We have always viewed Vitamin C as a vitamin that keeps us healthy, especially if you catch a cold, getting as much tea and vitamin C in your body was a priority. But we were unaware that there are creams, serums and a whole lot of skin care products containing vitamin C. We oftenly share our daily and night skin care ritual secrets with our friends, and during one of those talks, a friend, who knows practically everything there is when it comes to preparative skin care, mentioned vitamin C serums, and shorty afterwards, gave me one (thank you, G.).
Is there something better than an ice cream during hot summer days? Maybe popsicle lips? This new beauty trend is probably the one we are most excited for! It’s not so high maintenance, it looks so fresh and natural (ofc if you don’t go overboard with it) and the lips look so much bigger. Yay!!
We always strive to achieve that natural “no makeup” look. And for us a perfect way to do it is a highlighter. The best way is that you can wear it alone, at least we do. Just a small drop on the tip of our nose, or inner corners of our eyes will help us to get natural and more awake makeup look. We love to try out new highlighters, and after hearing so many great reviews about Mary-Lou Manizer Luminize, we decided to buy it.
When it comes to make up, we don’t like to put too much of it on our faces and we always strive to have that “no make up” look. Our previous choice, face & body powder by Mac, although we loved it, it’s minimal covering was a big problem. Especially during PMS, when our skin needs covering the most.
With liquid lipsticks trending the beauty community, where it`s Kylie’s Liquid Lip Kits or Kat Von D’s Liquid Lipsticks, we knew that we must have it in our makeup collection. We opt for a cheaper version, Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipgloss in shade 01 la vie est belle and completely fell in love with it!
As you could have guessed, we are continuing with summer articles. And why not? It’s hot outside and we can’t wait to leave for vacation. Swimming suits are bought, and we are eagerly waiting for the postman to arrive (in case you didn’t know, there is currently a huge sale on Asos).
