Halloween is less than 2 days away! Are you ready? Today we decided to make this cute and spooky meringue ghosts. They are so easy to make, and soo delicious. They will literally melt in your mouth! Spooktacular!
All you need is:
- 3 large egg whites
- 30 dkg of icing sugar ( around 3 cups)
- lemon juice
- chocolate for the eyes
In the bowl beat the egg whites until foamy with an electric mixer. Gradually add icing sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Put it on steam and stir for about 20 minutes. Add lemon juice (3-4 tsp). Mixture should be thick and firm. Using a pastry bag pipe swirls of meringue to the baking sheet.
Bake in oven on 70 degrees Celsius forΒ 1 Β½ hours, until the meringues are dry. Leave the meringues to cool down overnight.
Now it is time to make this little ghost eyes. Melt the chocolate in microwave, and then draw the eyes with toothpicks .
And that is all!
Happy Halloween!
