White Shoes – One Of The Biggest Trends Right Now

by

We would like to dedicate today’s post to thing that’s synonymous with Emma from Spice Girls. White shoes. If you lived through the era of the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys, then you’re familiar with their combinations (if not, then it’s time to google). Emma, a.k.a. Baby Spice, was constantly wearing white footwear. From sneakers to high boots, they were always white. A big trend of white footwear was reigning through the last year, especially boots and ankle boots.

As for us, 90% of our footwear is black, and only white ones are sneakers. Which is justified, because who knows how would they look after just a couple of wearings. Firstly, because of the weather (rain, mud…), and secondly is definitely clumsiness.

We are certain that a ketchup stain is bound to show up because look… these girls really love pizza and burgers. If you take a look at magazines or web shops, white shoes are still there; Chanel, Celine or Mango and Zara are still not giving up on them, which leads us to a question: should we give them a chance? Even if it would mean giving up on occasional hamburger or really try to be more careful? We found some street style outfits that are built around white shoes, and we recreated them for you. Do you wear white footwear and how do you like the outfits? Tell us in the comments.
