In the past few years, as soon as the sales start, the two of us lose our minds and star manically buying clothes that we usually never wear afterwards, something that we probably picked up from our mom who has a full closet of things that still have labels on them (sorry mom). But this year we promised ourselves to change that, and along with doing things that make us go outside our comfort zone, we decided to spend our money more wisely.
The first round of sales is reserved for things that are classic and timeless, and we patiently waited for the last round to pick up trendy pieces. So if you’re like us, and you prefer to spend more money on classic and timeless pieces, and if anything is left, on trendy pieces, then the best thing to do is wait until the last round and pick them up for 10$ and less. And if they sold out, not a problem, there will be other opportunities. That is also a part of our new philosophy, to stay calm in turbulent times of season sales.
We decided to share with you a couple of 10$ or less pieces that will pay off. Blouses, for example. If you’re not a person that loves colors, like we are, and you don’t want to pay a 50$ for a blouse that may be trendy now, but in a few months time will not. Or trendy shoes, the perfect example being these from Zara, they are fabulous, but let’s be honest, we will not wear them for more than one season. If we bought them right away, they would have cost us 50$, but now their price is 8$. How great is that, right?
If you’re into online shopping, don’t miss SheIn. They are similar to Zara, they follow trends, but they also have a lot of classic stuff. We found a really nice black purse, shirt, earrings, and the best part is that they all cost less than 10$. If you’re a dress type of gal, then check out this one from H&M. It looks perfect for hot days.
