One of our favorite spices, especially when it’s in cookies and cakes, do you agree? Today, cinnamon is a part of almost every kitchen, and in the 14th century it led to a hundred years war. Cinnamon was so much appreciated that it was considered more precious than gold. The Egyptians also used it, and there are notes of it in Greek and Romanesque manuscripts. A big reason for it is the healing properties of cinnamon. Namely, cinnamon is an excellent source of manganese, iron, calcium and vitamins C and B2.
This spice also hides little beauty secrets, and here are our favorite three.
As we have already said, cinnamon is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, making it an excellent choice for all those who are struggling with excessive hair loss. Cinnamon will increase tissue circulation, strengthen hair follicles and thus accelerate hair growth. And the best way to do that is with hair mask.
All you need is: 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stir it all up. Apply it to your scalp and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse the mixture off with mild shampoo. This mask will remove dandruff, remove toxins from the hair follicles and also stimulate hair growth.
* This mask should not be used more than once a month.
Cinnamon will naturally plump your lips…
Yep! You read that right! You can naturally plump your lips with cinnamon. All you need is: 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir it all up, until you get a smooth paste. Massage a small amount of the mixture onto your lips for about 5 minutes. Rinse it with water and apply lip balm.
* If your lips are severely damaged, do not use this treatment.
Cinnamon removes dead cells and is excellent for treating pimples and acne on the body …
We love this body scrub. It smells amazing and it is great for the skin. All you need is 1 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 1 cup of almond oil. Mix all the ingredients. And that’s it! Rub your skin gently with the scrub and rinse with warm water. You can also store the scrub in small container and use within a few weeks.
