Avocado is definitely amongst my most favorite fruits. Yes, avocado is really a fruit. I love it in any possible way. Avocado on tost, avocado pudding, even in my around the eyes cream. But, let’s get back to the topic that you’ve came here for in the first place. This eye cream has some pretty amazing ingredients, and that’s what really drew me to this product. Those who know me will say that it’s because there’s avocado in it, and that isn’t far away from truth. And. really, the key ingredient is avocado oil. This oil has a rich texture, which makes the skin extremely soft, and essential omega fatty acids. Next ingredient is beta carotene, which is a natural antioxidant. There is also shea butter that brings back skin flexibility and improves dry skin look.
Cream itself has a very thick texture, you can see just by that how nourishing and rich it is. It hydrates sensitive areas around the eyes, and an additional plus is that it doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. If you’re dealing with a problematic, dry area around the eyes that is often irritated, especially during allergy seasons, you’ll have to try out this cream. It’s Kiehl’s bestseller for a reason!
Because of its thick texture, you only need to apply very little, and my suggestion is to slightly warm it up between your fingers before you put it on. Then, the thick texture will become creamy and will be very easy to apply. Don’t drag it across the skin, apply it by gently tapping of your fingers. I use it in the morning and in the evening, and have to admit that results were quickly visible.
If you want to have yourself a little treatment of the area around the eyes, you can apply a thicker layer of cream, let if to work it’s magic for about 15 minutes, and lightly wipe off the excess cream.
