A long time ago, when we just started using make up, along with corrector and a ton of foundation, blush was obligatory. It didn’t change. We used eye shadow to showcase our “creativity”. If the shirt was blue, there was no other color of eyeshadow to put on than blue. We blame this on Britney Spears, somehow. Are there any more of you like this? Thing sometimes change, and today’s choice shows that. Foundation and corrector are still present in our make up bag, so is blush. But the difference today is that we almost exclusively use creamy products. Same goes for blushes.
Creamy blushes are very easy to apply, we oftenly use it as a lipstick. When they come in powdered form, blushes don’t usually look natural, while creamy ones are a complete opposite, giving a nice natural finish. You can use brushes and sponges, or in our case, fingers to apply them.
Since we started trying out make up from high street shops (Bershka bronzer and palette), it was H&M’s turn. ย First off, we have to praise the packaging. Blush came in a nice little minimal box, with gold and white color combination. Price was around 9โฌ, which for a creamy 4ml blush is really not high, especially if you stumble upon a coupon or a sale on H&M website (they always have coupons, currently for black friday). We went with Peachy Rose shade. Pigmentation, as well as application, is excellent, giving the cheeks a natural look and glow. We have to point out that we have mixed skin, and blush stays on our face until we take it off ourselves. Velvety texture came as a pleasant surprise, and because of that, it’s perfect for lips, and winter time. This blush really surpassed our expectations, and we’ll definitely order more products. Maybe illuminator? We recently saw Katarina Perovic ( A Style Journey ) praising H&M lip pencils and illuminator on Instagram, so we’ll add them to our list. If you used some of H&M’s make up products, write us your opinions in the comments.
